I’m Philip Malan — Friendly Show-off
I’m an independent web developer and honestly I like to impress people. With design, strategy and tech know-how, I specialize in making brands look good on the web.
My journey began in a big agency, cranking out dosens of websites. Problem was, all the work we made were cookie-cutter layouts, had no strategy and was made by interns. This was not for me, I wanted to make beautiful websites that had real impact. So I decided to quit my job, to pursue a career as an independent web developer.

This was not for me, I wanted to make beautiful websites that had real impact. So I decided to quit my job, to pursue a career as an independent web developer.
And so far it feels like I’m on a roll. I have had the pleasure to collaborate with some talented people doing projects that I love. For big companies like Bestseller and Candeno to startups like Nordicfloat and O-KEY. I’m constantly evolving and learning everything from brand stategy to interactive layouts. At the moment i’m dipping my toes in marketing and lead generation, because I want to deliver top-notch work that gets results.
